ClassVid Group Idea

The song that our class has chosen to produce is the track which Jake Wilson had pitched which was the song One Thing By the boy band One Direction, we thought that this would be a good idea due to Dave saying that this was the type of song that were the most fun to do and the most successful to produce, we all agreed to do this as the pitch was a good pitch and was backed up well when was asked various different questions about the idea.

This video i think is good because it has a main key story line and it is relatively easy to follow also it is a very unusual one due to the girl in the video having lost a pet Giraffe which seems abit obscure however it is very effective as it will attract an audience to watch it more than once t get the general idea and grip to the whole music video which from a creators point of view is key to want to make the audience watch it more than once. Also the way that the little girl shows feelings for the pet giraffe draws in the readers attention also with the narrative enigma used at the start because we dont know what the little girl is looking for.

This music video has been shown in the classical daft punk way where by it has been shot with the famous masked figures, also during the Music Video you see the lights and editing being made known by the various different cut away shots and angles shown when filming the black background. Also the costumes used in this video with the sparkles on the shirts really work well with the dark black background

The song that i have chosen to pitch for the class vid is the song Rockstar by Nickleback, I have chosen this son because i feel that the way the original song has been shot would be a good thing to do for a group vid and with the ideas that i have got for the shoot it could work quite well. I thought that if we get a band to play in different settings.
